
Terms & Conditions
As we are a small business, cancellations greatly effect us. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to cancel your booking, we may have turned away other clients that we have been unable to accomodate, or fit in around your booking.

Please read the Terms and Conditions below regarding Cancellations. You will be asked to sign a hard or digital copy upon booking.
Terms & Conditions
The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for services displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

All Bookings
Booking must be requested in writing, either via text, email or contact form.
Getting in touch as soon as possible to book dates, is highly recommended to ensure your dates are available, and we will endeavour to fit you in to our schedule where possible.

Overnight Stays and Daily Care Visits
​
Booking Deposit
50% non-refundable deposit needs to be paid at the time of booking, and is due upon the receipt of the invoice.
Deposit amount will be deducted from the final invoice for the full amount of services booked
​
Payment
An invoice will be issued for the services booked. A non-refundable deposit will be required.
All payments to be made by Direct Debit into the bank account stated on the invoice.
The remaining balance after the deposit has been paid, is to be paid 14 days prior to the booking beginning.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be in writing, either via text or email.

Overnight stays

Up to 2-3 pets depending on size of pets and requirements. Minimum 12 hour overnight period.

Overnight care only, which includes am and pm care, and walking for dogs.

Longer hours and/or 24 hour care available only upon request and subject to, availability. Request for daytime hours will be charged extra.

Hourly Rate Engagement
Hourly rate engagement is subject to different Terms & Conditions - available upon enquiry or booking.

If Vet Treatment is Required
Should any animal in the care of Stable Hands Byron Bay need vet treatment while you are away, we will:

Try to contact you on the contact numbers provided on the management forms. In case of emergency, the vet will be contacted first and any plan put into action.

Should we be unable to contact you, we will make the decision in the best interest of the horse or pet.

For pets: your preferred vet will be contacted and they will be taken there if possible, unless it is a time sensitive emergency and we have to take your pet to the nearest vet, or a different out of hours emergency vet.

For horses: your preferred vet will be contacted for call out. If it is an emergency case, and your preferred vet is not available, any vet that can come out as quickly as possible will be engaged. Stable Hands Byron Bay works closely with Dr Nikita of Richmond River Valley Vets.

All vet's bills will be required to be paid by the horse's or pet's owner.

There may be a travel fee incurred for taking a pet to the vet.
